25.
A quarter of a century. Today, Dynamic4 is the same age I was when I started the business in 2001.
After almost two months of travelling, including five weeks in Switzerland for the Montreux Jazz Festival, snowboarding, paragliding, exploring the country, and hanging out with awesome people… London was my new home.
It was time to transition and settle in. 25 and ready for my next adventure.
I didn’t really have any specific plans or ambitions. I designed it as a lifestyle business that could be adaptable enough to encompass my endless curiosity. And it is.
I feel very lucky and stoked to still be doing it.
A huge thanks to all the awesome people and communities I get to spend my time with… our team, clients, collaborators, program participants, and students. I love the work we do together.
Thanks for inviting me in and trusting me to work alongside you and cheer you on.
What do we do? We work alongside leaders and their teams on complex challenges that bring together strategy, design, and tech.
I often get asked about the origin story and why the name Dynamic4. For our 20th birthday in 2021, I wrote the abridged version, with a few things I’d learnt along the way.
October is a milestone month for Dynamic4.
It’s our birthday today. On 14 October, it’ll be five years since I launched my bestselling book Solve Problems That Matter… and I launch my new book Lead Change That Matters: Design the Conditions for Momentum on 15 October.
Tomorrow I’ll be announcing the final cover for Lead Change That Matters and a special presale offer.
Starting Dynamic4 at 25 was an action-packed time of my life. 25 years on, my life is still action-packed… full of fun, awesome people, and a lot of music. Here’s to the next 25…
