Design Outlook 24: High Fidelity has kicked off. AI heavy but great to hear Alison Page bring the living systems and First Nations knowledge perspective into design.
Digital, tech, and visual design can dominate the design conversation but it doesn’t exist in a vacuum… we need to keep the context of (all) people, place, Country, and living systems to design and create regenerative futures. Transdisciplinary and integrative.
Awesome to be catching up with lots of old friends and making new friends too. Great to chat last night Dr Barbara Doran and Meg Price 😃

I’m looking forward to being back in Melbourne in three weeks for Design Outlook 24: High Fidelity. DO24 will celebrate design at its best, while acknowledging the beauty in our imperfections.
The main day is Thursday, 20 June, but from Monday to Wednesday there’s a series of open houses and meetups, and it wraps up with workshops and masterclasses on Friday.

DO: Business for design
Design Outlook is developing an MBA-like ‘Business for design’ course. It’s created specifically to bridge the gap between design and business, amplifying impact within an organisation. It will be an in-person immersive followed by 6 weeks of online group work.
