Happy International Women’s Day 2024

Happy International Women’s Day! I’m lucky to have so many strong, creative, intelligent, funny, and kind women in my life… including my two young daughters. I’m also lucky that the design, impact, and education ecosystems (where I spend my time) are full of amazing women who I have the privilege of collaborating with and learning from every day.

#IWD is a day to celebrate the many achievements of women. The theme for this year is Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress.

Women’s economic empowerment is central to a gender equal world. When women are given equal opportunities to earn, learn, and lead – entire communities thrive. For this we need equal access to education, employment pathways, financial services and literacy.
