Regional Youth Entrepreneurial Activation Program (RYEAP)

Text: RYEAP. Regional Youth Entrepreneurial Activation Program

The Regional Youth Entrepreneurial Activation Program (RYEAP) is a great initiative helping amplify the entrepreneurial potential of high school students in regional, rural, and remote NSW.

I’m stoked to be an Entrepreneur-in-Residence as part of the teaching team on this program alongside Stephen Rutter, Elvis Gleeson, Erica Tan, Matt Panopoulos, Nick Stevens, Mariam Mohammed, Carli Leimbach, Nicola Panopoulos, and Suzie Winkelman.

The program is designed to foster creativity, teamwork, effective communication, social responsibility, and business planning through interactive activities and a student group project with a local industry partner.

This unique initiative is funded by Investment NSW and delivered by The Scale Institute. The goal is to help equip our next generation in regional, remote, and rural areas with the skills and knowledge to think differently and act entrepreneurially. It’s all about cultivating the next generation of entrepreneurs who’ll drive positive change, create jobs, and help build stronger and more resilient communities.

By participating in RYEAP, students will experience:

  • Entrepreneurial immersion bootcamps (we come to you!!)
  • Online learning modules focused on growth and pitching ideas
  • Mentoring from seasoned Entrepreneurs-in-Residence
  • Regional Pitch Showcase events

Expressions of interest from high schools/teachers for this FREE program are open now and close 16 June. Get your EOI in now!
