Dynamic4 is proud to be the digital partner for Smart Locale. Smart Locale is a collective impact program by Green Capital and the Total Environment Centre. The initial focus is the Ultimo Pyrmont precinct in Sydney. The mission is:
“Accelerate the transformation of the Ultimo Pyrmont local economy into an internationally recognised showplace for smart, safe, sustainable living by 2020.”
Smart Locale Ultimo Pyrmont provides the backbone organisation and support for a range of projects as long as they’re consistent with the vision, follow a collaborative approach and align with one or more of the six pillars: sustainable buildings, energy, waste, transport, open space and water.
The initiative is guided by a steering committee made up of representatives from some of the participating organisations. The current steering committee organisations are Dynamic4, Echo Entertainment Group, Flow Systems, Green Capital, Institute for Sustainable Futures UTS, Pyrmont Ultimo Chamber of Commerce and Sydney TAFE.
Dynamic4 provided Smart Locale a grant through our Dynamic4 Good grant program – focused on creating sustainable positive change for people and our environment.
As part of the grant, we worked with the Smart Locale team on the strategic design of the value proposition, business model, service blueprint and brand. This process also helped achieve clarity on the context and role of the website / platform, the scope and initial priorities. The Dynamic4 team designed the visual brand and also designed and built the Smart Locale website – which went live last week. This is just the first stage of the website. A lot more to come…
How Do I Get Involved?
Organisations based or operating in the Ultimo Pyrmont precinct or nearby are invited to participate. There is no cost involved. To be eligible to become a participant you need to commit to the core agenda and collaborative approach.
