Ideation for Impact – Social Enterprise Series by ACU Co-Lab & StartSomeGood

Wednesday, 9 April 2025. 4-6pm. Free & Online

I’m looking forward to leading an interactive and applied 2-hour session tomorrow night as part of the Social Enterprise Series by ACU Co-Lab and curated by StartSomeGood. Free and online.

This is week 3 and the topic is Ideation for Impact. We’ll focus on helping you get clarity on your idea by understanding and building deep empathy for the people, problem, and context before jumping to solutions… and testing your riskiest assumptions so you can move forward with confidence.

What we’ll cover together…

  • Intro to taking a human-centred design and living systems approach to design and innovation
  • Get clarity and build deep empathy for the people, problem, and context you’re focusing on
  • Design and test both your business model and solution concept with prototypes and experiments
  • How to get into your rhythm of prioritising, planning, and reviewing to build momentum

The Social Enterprise Series is an 8-week in-depth learning program designed to educate future global changemakers about the practical components of establishing or growing a thriving social enterprise. It’s fully subsidised by ACU Co-Lab and open to university students, staff, and the broader community.

I’ve been part of the program since it started in 2021 and it’s great to see the program back again this year.

If you attend three or more of these sessions, you can also enter a video pitch for a chance to win the Social Enterprise Award – $10,000 to kickstart your project.
