Sefa Partnerships Case Study
Collaborating to design and deliver learning and capacity building programs for social enterprises and senior corporate leaders
About Sefa Partnerships
Sefa Partnerships is a NFP designed to provide benevolent relief to disadvantaged communities and persons across urban and rural centres in Australia.
They do this in partnership with other organisations through two focus areas: blended finance for NFPs and social enterprises to achieve sustainable social outcomes, and capacity building to deliver meaningful opportunities for changemakers to develop their skills, knowledge, and resources to create sustainable social impact.
Building Capacity for Social Impact
Sefa Partnerships and Dynamic4 have collaborated since 2017 to design and deliver learning and capacity building programs for social enterprises and senior corporate leaders.
Sefa Partnerships’ Head of Programs, Hannah Miller, first partnered with Dynamic4 as part of providing ING Dreamstarter scholarships to early-stage social enterprise founders on the Dynamic4 Jetpack program. She believes that successful partnerships are built on a willingness to build trust, so ideas can be contested and divergent perspectives explored in a way that is robust while in pursuit of shared goals.
We also partner on a leadership program focused on human-centred design, innovation mindset, and collaborative leadership for a shared financial services client. Our experiential program helps corporate leaders learn through doing by delivering real value for a social enterprise client. Through these programs we’ve worked with over 80 corporate leaders to support nine social enterprises.
“Dynamic4 knows innovation isn’t always something new. They support clients and partners to challenge and reinvent their ways of working and the systems they are operating in.”

Results & Feedback
“Dynamic4 knows innovation isn’t always something new. They support clients and partners to challenge and reinvent their ways of working and the systems they are operating in.
Dynamic4 do this in a way that connects the authenticity of the individual/s to the business models they are pursuing and the ideas for a better future they are seeking to realise. This requires both unlearning and learning new ways of operating – something Dynamic4 live daily.”
“One of my favourite things about working with Dynamic4 is the ability to have a laugh. They’re our comrade in adversity and a true partner through both ups and downs.”
